Can I Drink the Water in Costa Rica, Orrrrrrrrr Should I Just Stick to Beer? Serious Question.

First of all, you should definitely be drinking beer at some point, and it should definitely be a michelada.

That said, if you're one of those over-achieving do-gooders who likes to get their eight glasses of water in every day, then you'll be DELIGHTED to know that guess what? *drum roll*

You can drink the water. And it's actually delicious!

I know there's a lot of worry about this, especially because in Mexico, you definitely can't drink the water. But this is Costa Rica, not Mexico (or Puerto Rico, in case you were wondering) (seriously people get confused), and the water supply is top notch. Probably because of all of those waterfalls and all. And, you know, that whole ecotourism thing.

That said, you can also buy bottles of water, because #PORTABLE. And they even have giant three gallon containers if you're staying in a house and want to show off all of your wealth. And when in doubt? You can always cut open a pineapple. Pineapples are the shit. You haven't had a pineapple until you've had a Costa Rican pineapple.Maybe this blog post should be about pineapples?
