Okay, fine, maybe a few more words. The outlets in Costa Rica are the same as the outlets in the United States—*celebration emoji*—which, to be clear, is the little two-prong guy. In other words, you do not have to worry about getting an adapter, and life just got approximately 900% easier. Did somebody say, "room for an extra beer in my luggage?" Yes, I'm pretty sure that's what you just said. (Unless you’re from Europe—then you definitely need to get an adapter, and I highly recommend bringing one from Europe.)
